I found out my son had a rare bone disorder at 38 weeks pregnant.

It's not as easy as I thought to share the trauma I've been working through the past year. I feel like I missed so many parts. I would love to connect if you or anyone you know has a baby or child with Skeletal Dysplasia. My son has SEDc, which only affects 4 in a Million babies. It's a Type II collagen disorder that affects the growth of his long bones and the collagen production between his joints, behind his eyes, and between his ears.

Notes: The procedure I forgot the name of was the external cephalic version (ECV), Where an obstetrician will gently press on your abdomen to encourage your baby to turn. It is often, but only sometimes, successful.
